Shihan Mikio Nishiuchi, President of Toei Ryu Iai Batto Renmei, has been training for 45 years. He was born and lived in Kochi City, Shikoku Island, Japan and came to the United States when he was 30 years old.

Shihan Nishiuchi practices Iaido, classical Japanese swordsmanship, and holds a certified Chuudan degree in Musojikiden Hasegawa Eishin Ryu Iaiheiho.
