KUKISHINDEN RYU YOROI KUMIUCHI

The five postures and nine forms presented here from the Kukishinden school are explained with their foundation based upon the origins of wearing armour. Clad in armour dating from the 'warring

states' period (16th century) the techniques are shown in an informative manner using combinations of sword, spear, halberd and kabutowari 'helmet-cracker'. Then demonstrating the same techniques without armour and unarmed shows the versatility of this system.
